Current Issues, "Healthcare" and Politics.

If you are reading this you are like most everyone else...These topics get more people's minds racing than watching a Kubrick movie. And how dare I speak about these topics. You see that is exactly the issues we Americans are facing now. Nobody is "allowed" to speak their opinion about why the U.S. is in shambles. More people are without work, money, IRA's, 401K's, facing foreclosures, losing their "health"coverage..etc..yayayaya. Nobody in this country that is the land of the Free, Home of the Brave- are allowed to speak out against what is wrong or you will be chastized and labled facist, communist, socialist and even Nazi-Gestapo-ist.
I think Chris Rock said it best..."The hypocracy of our democracy".. In the above label of the U.S, Land of the Free, Home of the Brave, Chris Rock could not have described it better. If you were free to say,do and choose what you wanted, there would be no backlash. On the other hand, most of the people that live here are not brave enough to voice their opinions. Just walk down the local gathering place in your town and look at everyone's demenor. It seems as if there is the cliche 500 gorilla around everywhere these days. Yes there is and it is the weak economy, the job market and "health"care.

There is so much reistance about how President Obama is taking on such a large task as reforming the "health"care topic. The problem is that this should have never even been allowed to spiral out of control, but when companies put profits ahead of humanity, you end up with the situation we have now. Insurance companies have been allowed to rape and pillage their way through citizens of our country. So we have issues where normal upright citizens who have done nothing wrong, never committed any fraud against these mongrols, end up forfeiting all they worked hard for, house, investments somtimes family. Many people are and have been faced with the decision to either go visit a physician and take the chance of going bankrupt or living with a condition. And the best part about this is that people who are funded by all of these corporations(Rupert Murdoch) et.al, hire idiots and hot blondes to spew filth so they get people who cannot think for themselves, to believe that something that is much needed("health"care), is wrong and all that are for it, are Communists,Socialists, Nazi-ists.

When 17% of the GDP is centered around "health"care, and 1/3rd is profits that go to the insurance companies and entities like them, there is a problem. To think that a single payer system will make things worse for our economy, is like thinking that if you let the faucet drip in the bathroom, you will not face consequences- you eventually will--mold,warped floors and higher bills. However that may be, I would like to ask you who are reading this to do an experiment. Turn on the T.V, go straight to the big news channels. Now take notes, first watch FOX with its talking heads, Beck, O'Reilly, Hannity. Now go to CNN, Cooper,King and Blitzer. It is disgusting how the people who own these channels are allowed to get people distracted from the real Dog and Pony show. Be that as it may, they are doing a great job at it. Ask anyone who watches one or the other and they will give you without saying it, why they listen to that channel.

Since most of the people who are opposed to a single payer system for "health"care have or will have the best care they can get. They dont have the issues that the majority of the country does. They dont have to worry about spending half of their paycheck on a prescription they need currently. Since insurance companies are allowed to exclude people and deny coverage for whatever and whenever they want, they capitlize on obscene profits, daily. Let's say you own a business, you instill a policy that states you can pay for your product up front and we will offer you the product after a set amount of time. Now if the individual wants or needs to use that product before that set amount of time, he will not be able to take the product for his use and you keep the money he has paid you. Normally in this example, you would be charged with some fort of theft or larceny. But not if you are any type of insurance company. He who has the gold makes the rules.

Too many of us are faced with the uncomprehensable decision mentioned earlier. In my opinion, I feel like either way, the insurance companies need to be faced with the voice of the people and physicians. I feel bad for a large amount of doctors who are also faced with these decisions daily. There are some great doctors out in the field who know change is needed. But their hands are tied. Just like citizens are also. So I have placed some links for your reading and you can decide what you want to face by making your own decisions.
